Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher believes Manchester City could be looking to add another midfielder in the January transfer window.

“I look at their central midfield position at the moment, they’re missing the best player in the world in that position, Rodri,” Carragher said.

“I think it’ll be really interesting to see if Manchester City go back into the January transfer market because I’m not sure if they’re going to achieve. What they want with the central midfielders they have now until the end of the season.”
