Use a thermometer to measure the temperature after wiping the body for about 15-30 minutes to see if the body temperature has decreased.

If the patient has a fever for more than 5 consecutive days, a fever higher than 40 degrees Celsius in adults or higher than 38–39 degrees Celsius in children under 6 months, and other symptoms such as a rash, dehydration, severe  headache or stomachache, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, confusion, stiff neck, or dark blue skin, the patient should be taken to see a doctor immediately.
